Kyoto Ramen Station

I totally love Japanese food kaya when a good friend told us he’s gonna bring us to a Japanese restaurant without leaving Meycauayan, we immediately agreed to come! And it was a good decision! I loved the place!

Kyoto Ramen Station is owned by Tito Baldz, a jovial person na nagtrabaho sa Kyoto, Japan as chef for years. Nung umuwi daw siya dito sa Pilipinas, he decided to just establish a restaurant and ito na nga yon. Siya rin ang nagluluto dito and while waiting for your meals, he will entertain you with his funny stories.

Of course, ramen ang staple order namin when we go there. We loved it kasi the taste is really different! You won’t taste that sa ordinary na mamihan sa kanto. Usually, we mix it with chili sauce para mas emphasized yung lasa. Waaah! Itadakimasu!

I also recommend the California Maki. Hindi siya katulad ng sa iba na nasa labas ang rice pero the servings are big enough para mabusog ka with a piece or two. It’s served with a small portion of wasabi (na hindi naman namin ginagalaw lagi).

I guess, the only downside of this is maliit yung lugar. Medyo hindi magkakasya pag isang classroom kayong nagpunta. Pero pwede naman take-out. Itatawag na lang ng maaga para for pick-up nalang. Madali naman marating yung lugar since it’s just a few steps away from SaveMore Meycauayan (papuntang tollgate). It’s just across Simbahang Bato in Malhacan so very easy to locate. Sakay lang kayo ng tricycle kung sa may stoplight ng Meycauayan kayo dadaan.
